The ANOINTED Gospel Praise Group was founded in 1987 when the leader had a vision to celebrate and share the majesty and power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through songs of worship and praise. Just as the Biblical seraphim found in the book of Isaiah Chapter 6 verses 1-8, it is their calling to minister the good news of the Gospel with holiness and excellence to reach those that do not know Him.
In a continual movement forward, the desire is to renew the level of spirituality in churches and events by evangelizing in music with the anointing of Jesus Christ. As they continue in excellence, in integrity, in personal character, and with Christian professionalism, their goal is to Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing his praise. Under the Direction of the ordained Minister and a talented musician, songwriter, vocalist, director, and music producer who has received awards from Billboard, Sony, Akademia and has performed on stage with actors Ozzie Davis, Ruby Dee and Jazz great Sonny Rawlings on BET singing his hit gospel song
He is most acknowledged for training and developing choirs, providing individual voice and piano lessons, and songwriter's/music workshops...and has engaged in working with notable Gospel artists including Dr. Leonard Scott and the Mississippi Mass Choir. The Anointed Gospel Choir has traveled throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi and toured the Mediterranean, Italy, France, and Spain ministering to our U.S. soldiers and NATO Forces as a performer for the USO/Armed Forces Entertainment. As a musical director for the world famous Harlem Gospel Choir, he has presented throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland & Switzerland, Malta, Jersey and Belgium. The group have completed a successful tour of South America with concerts in Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay - performing both on stage and television. |
